Is SilentCall a mobile app?
No. Android and iPhone often restrict an app's ability to record or place calls, and we won't risk you missing a permission setting at the worst possible moment. SilentCall is simply a dedicated phone number — nothing to install. Simple, and dependable.
Is anyone listening to or reviewing my recordings?
No. Our system silently receives your call, recognises your number, and records. The recording is only ever sent to the people you chose during setup.
What happens if I want to cancel a call?
Once the recording ends, you have 40 seconds to cancel it — just tap the link we text you the moment the call ends, and the recording is deleted. After that, it's shared with your trusted contacts. We keep recordings for no longer than 30 days.
How quickly are my trusted contacts notified?
If your call is short and you hang up within about two minutes, the recording is shared as soon as the 40-second cancellation window passes. If the call runs longer, we take that as a sign something is happening and alert the people you trust right away.
How many trusted contacts can I set up?
Up to three people.
Can I test it?
Yes — you can try SilentCall free for 14 days. We take payment when you register, but if you cancel within 14 days you get a full refund, no questions asked. And as soon as you've registered you can run a test call, so both you and your trusted contacts know exactly what to expect.
What does it cost to call the SilentCall number?
In the United States your SilentCall number is toll-free, so calling it is free. In the United Kingdom you pay your operator's standard rate — or nothing if your plan includes inclusive minutes.
How do I keep the SilentCall shortcut on my home screen?
Once you log in, we provide step-by-step tutorials for a wide range of devices. It's simple — no technical skills required.
Is location information sent?
Yes. With one tap you can start the recording, or use the widget, which additionally shares your exact location.
